Iota

In November of 1994 we, the Iota Chapter of Omega Delta Phi, were privileged to receive chapter status from the Omega Delta Phi National Fraternity, Inc. We are getting ahead of ourselves though; before then there was one brother. One brother who pledged the Beta class for our Epsilon chapter (Arizona State University) the year before that. Brother Matthew "Boo Boo" Figueroa was able to bring the flame from Epsilon and transfer it to Northern Arizona University in one year. Thanks to Brother Figueroa's family and friends that were already attending the university, he was able to have that first meeting in the TV room of Tinsley hall which we attribute as the first Iota meeting. Now, 15 years later we can still say that we keep the flame alive and going strong.

Its been a wild and crazy ride, but Iota lives! We have had our ups and downs and are still standing. We are the most honorable and respectable fraternity around! I guarantee it. We are the ONLY brotherhood that participates annually in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration. We are the ONLY recognized multicultural fraternity on campus. We are the ONLY fraternity that participates in genuine community service. Not philanthropy that you go and play games for 5 hours and call it a day, we go into the community and try and make a difference. We are the ONLY brotherhood that actually holds brothers accountable and treats with a family accepting atmosphere.

We are looking forward to the academic school year and more than that we are excited about our Alpha Iota Prospective Member Classes.
