We understand your concern in your son joining an organization like this. Most people hear the word fraternity and associate it with Animal House, Old School, or any other Hollywood version of what we live. To be honest I came to this school with those same thoughts in mind. Those changed after my first year. There were numerous opportunities for me to go home and quit school because I wasn't feeling good regarding my decision, however those thoughts always went back to the family I was turning my back on. We are there for each other like no other. In the picture above it is a picture of us at one of our brother's weddings this past summer.
We don not take what we do lightly. We take gentlemen that want to make something of themselves and are willing to put in the work. We do have fun, we do go out and eat with each other and hang out and all the stuff that comes with college. However we also have programs in place to assist each other with our personal safety and goals. We have a designated brother program where we have two brothers designated a weekend where they will be the designated driver. We also have mandatory 12 study hours per week along with regular meetings with our academic advisor.
This is a family organization and we will always encourage you to come visit and hang out if you wish. At the end of the year we will be having our annual banquet where you and your loved ones are invited to join us in celebrating the end of the year.
